Colin Anderson, M.D.
My Story
Dr. Anderson is a board certified ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery and anterior segment eye surgery. He is a native of Central New York and has lived and studied across the state. He graduated from Binghamton University with a degree in biochemistry and proceeded to medical school at Upstate Medical University where he discovered his passion for eye surgery. He completed his residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, where he was mentored by prominent and leading surgeons in their fields. He and his family returned to Upstate NY shortly after graduation and have lived in Buffalo since 2020.
Dr. Anderson is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology, a member for the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and is a board member for the New York State Ophthalmological Society. In his spare time, he enjoys home improvement projects, spending time with his family, golf, exploring local businesses and cafes, cooking, and reading.
